Oh Thigh Highs!

    Let’s face it thigh high boots aren’t going anywhere and it’s safe to say we don’t want them to go far neither! Everywhere you turn you can find a fashionista rocking a pair rather she’s petite, curvy, short or tall I mean let’s admit they look good on everyone. Thigh high boots can be paired with almost anything to make your look complete, rather it’s an oversized t shirt, jeans and a crop or a flirty skirt paired with a graphic tee.

      My client Taylor recently visited Memphis, Tennessee where the weather is much more comfortable than Chicago around this time of year. Taylor wanted a fun yet, trendy look which isn’t far from her original style. So, I paired her with an oversized metallic top from online retailer ASOS, which I found in the men’s section, which fits like a dress because of her petite frame.

       Taylor has a tomboy shape, so we had to balance out her frame, so I decide that black thigh high boots  which would elongate her legs and portion out her petite frame and compliment her shirt dress. To finish off her look, we did minimal accessories because I didn’t want to over accessorize, so I paired her with a mini silver necklace, with diamond hoop earrings from Forever21 and her blush pink clutch she already had to complete her look!

Let’s admit it the makeup industry is one the most influential & money making business ventures out there. Rather you’re into makeup or not, you’ve heard or seen how important a girls beauty products mean to her. As of 2015 the makeup industry is worth 62.4 billion dollars. It’s safe to say that the industry has seen such success over the last couple of years, because of millennials & social media. Nevertheless, many makeup artist & hairstylist are building their clientel from social media, with How To Videos along with promoting their favorite products. I believe the beauty industry will continue to be profitable, along with even more beauty lines & partnerships due to the fact that most of us can’t live without social media & taking a good selfie!

Of course you’ve noticed the Raf Simmons 2016 Hybrid Latex Boots, they’ve been everywhere, different colors and they even come in different styles. The first pair I noticed were actually the knockoffs until I did my research to see where are these trendy girls getting these cool latex boots!
